Nature, wildlife and portrait photographer Martin Bailey will run 2012 photography workshops on wilderness voyages with Aurora Expeditions.
These photography tour cruises will travel to The High Arctic, Russian Arctic and Russian Far East. Open to photographers of all levels, these tours will give guests the opportunity to hone their photography skills.
A popular photography expert, Bailey’s weekly photography podcast attracts 75,000+ monthly downloads.
Exploring remote coastlines, alongside Martin and the expedition team, guests will experience stunning light, wildlife and scenery.
On the expedition, Martin will give lectures on Color management with the X-Rite ColorChecker Passport and calibration tools; Lightroom basics and enhancements; digital workflow; geotagging; composition; long Exposure techniques and Black & White with Silver Efex Pro 2.
Russian Far East voyages will include the Kuril Islands (above), Kamchatka Peninsula and Commander Islands.
Russian Arctic voyages will include the Norvaya Zemlya and Franz Josef Land.
Russian Coast voyages will include volcanoes, fjords, ice and wildlife such as whales, brown bears, rare birds, seals and the polar bear.
The Jewels of the Arctic voyages will include Spitsbergen, the East Greenland coast and Iceland.
This June, July and August, the 13 and 14 days voyages will depart. The photography tour package includes the photography program; ship accommodation; all meals on board; all shore excursions; lectures; medical services; port charges and taxes.
