The app, available for the iPhone and Android, is aimed at furthering the global campaign There’s nothing like Australia.

This app covers Australia travel experiences from hot air ballooning over Canberra to climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge to the sea lions at Kangaroo Bay.

Features of the app include:

  • 3,500 photos of Australia destinations, attractions and experiences;
  • Search facility for state, city or type of experience;
  • Listings of Australian travel specialists worldwide;
  • Locations for “Near Me Now” 50 holiday experiences;
  • Connection to Australia.com and
  • Sharing feature via Facebook, Twitter or email;
  • Map view of key attractions and experiences are located and
  • Chinese, Japanese and Korean language versions.
