Dreaming of that perfect Morocco holiday?  If you love glamping (glamor + camping), you might fancy the luxury Berber tented suites at Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco.

This fall, the Virgin Limited Edition property expanded to 10 Berber tented suites which were designed by Yvonne Golds of Real Studios.

The Berber tented suites are perched on the hillside, five minutes from the main Kasbah, affording views of the Atlas Mountains.

Each suite features a sitting area, a step up to the bedroom area, three sets of full-height doors and windows and a private deck with loungers.

Keeping it greener, the designer sourced recycled floor tiles from Italy for the bathrooms and vintage furnishings, mirrors, rugs and screens locally.  Golds utilized recycled car tires in bathroom stools which were painted silver and topped with a fabric cushion.

These “Midnight in the Oasis” feeling tented suites were designed to blend 21st century comforts with original Moroccan artefacts, fabrics and furniture sourced from local markets or commissioned from Marrakech craftsman.

The designer says the tent’s color palette was inspired by sunset pinks and dawn blue which are in the fabric lining that drapes inside the tents.

Dark, hand-carved wooden furnishings, ceramics, vintage or handcrafted lamps and lush cushions and rugs complement the pinks and blues.

A mountain breakfast can be a special culinary experience on a mountain trip.

72 Hours:

In Victoria-Jungfrau’s secluded Bel-Air spa suites,  the hotel’s “72 Hours In Your Bathrobe” package encourages guests to spend three days lounging in bathrobes in and around the spa.

When they arrive in Zurich, guests will be met by a private chauffeur and driven to the hotel.  They’ll head straight to their luxury Bel-Air suite with its private balcony and mountain views.

At the spa, they’ll complete six hours of custom spa treatments, including ESPA or SENSAI SELECT face and body treatments.
