The National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole is now holding its Western Visions event.

Until September 26, 2010, the museum will showcase 1,000+ works on display and for sale.

Some 150 top artists will contribute sculpture, painting, prints, photography, jewelry, sketches, and textiles for the museum fundraiser.

In the mountains of Vorarlberg, Austria, British artist Antony Gormley will exhibit Horizon Fields, August 2010 – April 2012,  in co-operation with the Kunsthaus Bregenz.

Says Antony Gormley:

“Who are we, what are we, where do we come from and to where are we headed? Those are the basic questions which the project “Horizon Fields” asks us. The whole point of this work is to make a connection between that which is palpable, perceivable and imaginable. It’s a field of relations between mind and body, in which some of the bodies are surrogates and some are real.”
