Ski and snowboard travelers everywhere are gearing up for the 2010/2011 season.

Popular U.S. ski destinations like Aspen/Snowmass are expecting a long, white ski season.

Due to a late Easter, Aspen/Snowmass expects a long winter season promising sunny days, spring powder, live music and après parties.

Aspen Mountain and Snowmass will open on November 25, 2010 and close on April 10, 2011.

Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk will open on December 11, 2010. Buttermilk will close on April 3, 2011 while Aspen Highlands will stay open until April 24, 2010.

The Aspen/Snowmass website features updated weather and snow reports, a community guest site and information on events to ski school.
