Switzerland’s pop-up golf course, Golf Mountain, is coming back to the meadow plateau of Engstligenalp nature reserve in Adelboden, Switzerland.
The natural golf course will again open for a limited time, a five week golfing season from September 9 to October 16, 2011.

One of Europe’s highest mountain golf courses, Golf Mountain sits at an altitude of 1,964 metres.
The golf course, a full 18 holes ranging from a par 3 to a par 5, is designed to be challenging and fun for skilled to beginner golfers.
At the pop-up course, the greens are classically laid out with artificial lawn.
Golf Mountain offers golfers obstacles including streams, rocky outcrops, strong mountain winds and extreme weather conditions.
Like with any mountain travel, the weather can change quickly on Golf Mountain from bright sunshine to dense cloud.
This mountain golf course also features a driving range and a traditional wooden Alpine hut/clubhouse with pro shop for renting clubs and changing rooms. A rustic bar and restaurant will serve local food such as fondue and raclette.
