Are you an iPhone and ski traveler? If you’re living and skiing in Europe, you might fancy a new iPhone app for skiing in the French Alps.
Located in the French Alps, the Paradiski ski area has launched an app with Les Arcs and La Plagne.
The Les Arcs app was designed to give visitors up-to-the-minute information on the 425km ski area.
A large interconnected domain, in Savoy, Paradiski links Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry and la Plagne massifs.
Paradiski will be open for the 2011/2012 ski season from December 17, 2011 to April 21, 2012.
Features of this French Alps ski app include:
- Slope map;
- Skier geo spatial positioning;
- Ski-lift opening hours;
- Seven-day weather forecasts;
- Ski webcams and
- Personal performance measurements [altitude differences, maximum speed etc].
In both French and English language versions, the app is available for the iPhone, iPad and Android.
