Wildscreen’s WildPhotos, the UK’s nature photography symposium, is returning to London’s Royal Geographical Society.

This two-day event, October 22-23, 2010, will feature a line-up of the world’s finest nature photographers and industry experts.

Now through June 6, 2010, Ansel Adams: Discoveries is showing at Phoenix Art Museum. This never-before-seen exhibition features 140 of Adams’ iconic images of America.

The exhibition celebrates Adams’ photography and delves deeper into his career including his early images, color photography and teaching career.

Photography holidays are an exciting, emerging trend in mountain travel.

In Europe, Tatra Photography now offers photography workshops including a three-day photography holiday in Germany’s Bavarian National Park and a landscape course in the surroundings of the Tatra Mountains.  An additional week- long break will feature the mountains’ peaks and valleys.

While in Slovakia, the company will offer three-day photography breaks in the Tatra Mountains focusing on the lakes and waterfalls and week long breaks in the peaks and valleys of the mountains.  These packages will  include staying in remote mountain lodges and lake locations for reflection and sunrise shots.
